With her vocal range of four octaves, exceptional musical skills and stunning charm, singer and songwriter RiViGi has already stirred up waves in the international music business before even dropping her debut song. Numerous international experts consider her to be one of the vocal jewels of the future.

As all proper fairy tales go, RiViGi’s story begins in a rather unlikely place. Born to a German father and Russian mother in 1997 as Regina Veselov, she grew up in a small village in southern Russia. Regina’s musical talent began to show as soon as she could voice her first words. With the support of her grandmother, she attended music school at the age of 6 as the youngest in her class – even before starting her general education. One of her first inspirations back then was Shakira, she recalls: “Singing in English ‘Whenever, Wherever’ – and that was it! I couldn’t see anything else when I saw that – there was no other way.” Always driven by her dream of becoming a professional singer and songwriter, she wrote her first songs at the young age of 10. At the age of 15, she recorded her first song in English. It was around this time that her family decided to take a life-changing step to give their talented daughter a better footing for an international career. They moved west and settled down in Germany. Having already worked as a model in Russia, Regina signed up with German model agency Lemon Models for the sake of financial freedom to pursue her music career.

Enter Jerry Parham, long-time A&R manager and US hit-maker veteran, who has been a major driving force behind Sean Garrett’s career with 18 No. 1 hits (with e.g. Beyoncé, Enrico Iglesias, Britney Spears) among countless other success stories. Always preferring to pull the strings in the background, he also worked with producer legends Harold Faltermeyer, Jon Jon Traxx (Beyoncé ” Deja Vu “) and Peter Meisel, artists like Joy Denalane, Bootsy Collins, Michael Marshall (“I got 5 on it”), DJ Tomekk, Captain Hollywood, John Davis, and many more. After 40 years of experience in the world of major labels, he decided to leave the music industry for good in 2017 and returned to Germany, where he had grown up and lived for many years before.

Needless to say, his retirement wasn’t meant to last long. Back in Germany, he caught up with an old German friend, who ran a certain model agency and told him about a certain young singer in her model file. It immediately caught his attention. You don’t retire 40 years in A&R that easily. Listening to Regina’s voice, he was hooked at once. His treasure hunter instinct kicked in and before he knew it, Jerry was back in business.

Truly believing in Regina’s voice and songwriting talent, Jerry committed to forwarding her career as her executive producer. “She has something very special in her voice and deserves it”, he explains his comeback decision. Jerry facilitated opening doors for songwriting opportunities and exciting collaborations, such as the charity song “Compass” for the German Football Ambassador e.V. and her first major stage performance with DJ Tomekk in front of 25.000 people. When travelling to LA, her voice and potential enchanted numerous songwriters and producers right away, up to BMG Executive VP Thomas Scherer. Neither last than least, German singer-songwriter hot shot Nico Santos has already penned three songs for her, which they produced together with Media Apes.

As RiViGi, she is now more than ready to enter the limelight in a grand way.
